Step into a quiet winter hidden deep within Fairy Hollow.

Over twenty four days, you’ll slowly gather a collection of tiny stitched treasures - little fragments of a woodland story brought to life through embroidery, hand dyed linens, lace, thread and carefully chosen haberdashery pieces. Designed as both a stitching experience and a finished heirloom object, this special seasonal collection invites you to create your own embroidered bobbin roll inspired by the magic of winter in Fairy Hollow.

Presented inside a luxury linen covered keepsake box, each day reveals a beautiful embroidery motif inspired by lantern lit woodland paths, toadstool dwellings, moonlit trees, winter florals, tiny fairy cottages, stars, ferns and hidden woodland treasures - all designed in the delicate, softly muted style that features in all of the Fairy Hollow embroideries.

At the centre of the collection is a hand turned wooden bobbin, designed to hold your finished stitched roll once complete. A length of hand dyed silk allows you to either hang the bobbin as a displayed wall hanging, or tie your roll closed and safe. Alongside the embroidery motifs are carefully curated hand dyed linens and threads, vintage inspired lace trims, fabric patches, buttons, tiny brass charms and a linen drawstring keepsake bag to house your gathered treasures.

The finished bobbin roll is intended to feel like a piece discovered within Fairy Hollow itself - layered, tactile and full of small details to revisit year after year.

Each collection is thoughtfully assembled by hand in small quantities, making this a truly special seasonal release for slow stitch lovers, collectors and those drawn to the quiet magic of winter woodland storytelling.

Special Notes

Payment Options

This year I am offering different payment options, recognising that some people have previously contacted me requesting instalment plans.

Payment can be made either in full, by paying a 50% deposit or by purchasing the 25% deposit option. Invoices will be sent for the subsequent instalments.

Subsequent dates for balances:

25% Deposit - 2nd Payment due 1st July 2026, 3rd Payment due 1st August 2026, Final Balance due 1st September 2026

50% Deposit - Balance due 1st September 2026

Postage

Boxes will be posted at the latest by 18th November to ensure they are delivered in plenty of time for the beginning of December. It is likely that they will be much earlier!

The December Special Edition boxes are a pre order purchase, as they are a large item with specially made packing boxes they cannot be purchased with any other item. If both boxes are purchased at the same time an invoice will be sent for the second postage.

International Buyers are responsible for any tax/duty that is due upon receipt of the package. US parcels will be sent via Royal Mail's Postal Delivered Duties Paid (PDDP) shipping service. Parcels are sent via ‘International Tracked’ Service.

Unfortunately we cannot accept responsibility for International orders that are held up in customs. All parcels are carefully wrapped, along with the gifts inside. Occasionally customs will open packages to carry out spot checks, regrettably we cannot be be held responsible for this, or for any damage done to the parcel.

FINALLY, BEFORE PURCHASING THIS LISTING PLEASE NOTE:

• The Beautiful Stitch is me (Vicki) and whichever family members I can persuade to help! So that I can prepare and post your box, all of the supplies, including the special gifts from other artisan businesses , are ordered in advance, based upon your commitment when you purchase this pre-order. This means that a separate cancellation policy applies to normal.

• Should you need to cancel your box, please note that we will provide a refund of any monies paid, MINUS a £25 admin fee if cancelled by 11th September 2026.  Orders cancelled after the 11th September 2026 will only be eligible for a refund of monies paid, MINUS a £25 admin fee, once we have resold your box.
