Individually hand turned wooden thread holders - these are the smaller version of the original thread holders.
Made especially for The Beautiful Stitch, based on a rough sketch and some convoluted explanation of an antique winder!
The holders are a perfect addition to your sewing supplies, holding between five and seven threads depending on design.
Each holder is individual, and will have variation due to their handmade nature. They are finely sanded to ensure there are no snags to catch your threads on. Woods used include beautiful oak, sapele, ash amongst others.
The holders come loaded with some ‘dyer’s perks’ hand dyed threads from The Beautiful Stitch range, all fully usable lengths - threads left after full skeins are created, to reduce waste!
