Hand Dyed Linen Scrap Pack

£20.00

A selection of hand dyed linen scraps, all a usable size for piecing. Each pack contains a minimum of 45g of mixed weight linens - 35Ct up to 56Ct.

Each pack is different.

The ‘scraps’, when sewn together with a 1/4” seam form an area big enough for the exterior piece and base of the 6” bag created following Karen Stevens’ Modern Japanese rice pouch. If you choose to use your scraps for this purpose it is worth laying them out before you start to cut and sew to ensure you use the fabrics in a layout that gives you enough coverage! Note: the scrap packs do not contain lining fabric or the pattern, this is just a suggested use for the pack and there are plenty of other uses for them! (PDF pattern should you wish to make a similar bag to the example in the pictures can be bought following the links at @kzstevens on Instagram).
