Hand Turned Wooden Bowl with Beeswax

£15.00

A brilliant little addition to your sewing or embroidery kit, these hand turned wooden bowls are each individually crafted and then filled with 100% natural beeswax.

Beeswax is traditionally the best thread condition, used to prevent tangles, strength fibres and help them to pass through the fabric with protection. With the gorgeous scent of honey these little bowls are something designed to be bought once and then refilled when you have used the wax - a real addition to building a heirloom sewing kit.

The bowls are sized approximately 1.5” in diameter and 3/4” in height.

If you wish to smooth the top of your wax surface after use you can gently reheat it to do so.

Paired with our hand turned thread winders and needle cases these are items that I use all of the time, and I love knowing that they have been designed to bring some artisan beauty to my embroidery tools!
